A VARIETY OF SYMPTOMS

There is an abundance of medicinal terms to describe the typical ailments connected with the occurrence of the RSI syndrome:

  • Bursitis
  • Epicondylitis lateralis respectively ulnaris (the tennis or golf elbow)
  • Myxoid Cysts
  • Carpal tunnel syndrome
  • Raynaud syndrome
  • Styloiditis ulnaris resp. radialis
  • Tendovaginitis
  • Tendopathy, tendomyalgia, tendosynovitis
  • Compression of the nerves syndrome

A clear distinction has to be made between the a.m. diseases and other ailments of a similar nature that, however, do not have anything to do with the mouse arm/RSI:

  • Chronic polyarthritis and other rheumatic diseases
  • Fibromyalgia, fibrositis or else a generalised tendomyopathy
  • cervical syndrome or cervical brachial syndrome (degenerative symptoms of the cervical vertebrae that are experienced by the individual as a pain in the arms/hands)
